had guests yesterday morning but bro decided to drop by for lunch. woohoo so out we went. not knowing lots of juicy stuff was going to happen in our neighbourhood. well had swell lunch go shopping summore. hee so as we were returning home for my parents favourite - tea time. while on the roads, we realize there was a massive jam on the road across the canal, the one that we will u-turn into if we are heading home. there were lots of police too. of course being smart cosmopolitan, we made a detour to take another road home. since we were on the cafe street my mom suggested that we might as well stop for some very nice grassjelly milk :D well passed the bank street too, so my bro said he might as well stop by to settle some stuff AND being inquisitive human beings, we found out that there was an open fire across the street and one man was killed. aaaa. and so the talking begins.
of course i manage to have some excellent grassjelly milk before all the gossip starts. after returning home, we decided to go to my favourite nasi lemak shop which sells out before 530 to buy dinner and collect my mom's new glasses as well. on our way there, near my mom's friend's house, there were like alot of ppl.. we drove nearer saw my mom's friends too. all outside her house staring, of course we wound down the window and she said... my goodness i never knew we were staying next to a serial assassin and thief! wha... so the guy was shot dead. and the cops when to search his house and all those ppl outside were reporters. of course we loved to linger to know more but the thought of my nasi lemak selling out fast was even more traumatising haha. we had no choice but to drive through the reporters and my mom was obviously not paying attention on the wheel since she hope that just in case the reporters were taking photos for the papers, her good side would be on :)
but alas, with much anticipation to choose the biggest drumstick, the shop was closed on tuesdays. cis. so we walked down a few shops to the spectacle shop. heh. of course more news about the open fire. apparently the cops had been chasing him by car all the way from pj. woo and manage to block the criminals car at the junction near my house, where previously mentioned was having the massive jam. feeling helpless the guy took out his gun and wanted to shoot the cops. BUT being our cops, of course they shot first and he died. but there were 2 other accomplices that were wounded but got away. and later the other police team went to search his house and manage to find four other guns and stashes of jewelry believed to be those from a 2 major robbery in the past week. haha. funny thing is we not only didnt manage to get my nasi lemak, my mom's spectacles were not ready as well. in turn we got a mouthful of gossips haha. of course the line from my previous entry came useful haha - everybody sing along now "its not over tonight..." haha
well the news came out today, and what we knew were hmmm 60% right, the rest was just entertaining hearsay haha oh well. oh yes and i just grew some wisdom too :) thank goodness it was painless. we got an ioniser too, apparently for cleaner air... hmmm i wonder haha. but it has a remote control haha I LIKE. perfect for couch potatoes haha.
