chapter 1: love

there use to be a very happy couple - samson and delilah. samson, at the age of 25, is a very reliable and charismatic man. well whether he is promiscuous i'm not too sure. i am just an outsider. delilah, 27 was just as good person. i would describe them as compatible.

looking at samson and delilah, i used to feel jealous of them because they showed me what reciprocation was. SO of course they manage to reach one year easily and had a romantic and perfect one year anniversary.

chapter 2: cliche

not long after that, Samson had to leave the country for awhile. Long distance did not seem like a problem at first. It even made their relationship grew stronger. They keep in touch every other day but, like every other perfect relationship, this act became too costly and too tedious.

delilah felt that they were drifting apart. but just before she was giving up on their relationship, samson returned and said hi dear, i'm home. they thought things can finally return back to normal. but of course not.. delilah felt that he wasn't doing enough to compensate for the time that he was away. they should be spending so much more time together. they had to buy back the time that they had loss. so acting like a perfectly normal girl, they had a very long conversation. maybe the feeling is not there anymore, she said. maybe we should take a break, she said.

are you sure, he said. after what we have been through? after surviving a long distance relationship? is this how we are suppose to end?

she said: if you want me to feel the way that i used to. you have to 'woo' me back. i want to have butterflies in my stomach everytime we meet. i want my heart to skip a beat when you hold my hands. is that possible...

after much hesitation, he finally said, give me sometime to think about it..

chapter 3: struggle

she was devastated..
why didnt he agree to the conditions immediately. are my conditions too difficult to meet? maybe i am not good enough. maybe he has cease to love me as much to do it all over again. we were great as a couple. everyone was so envious. i am 27 now i think its time to settle down. if he will not do it. maybe he is just not the one.

he felt like jumping off the building..
why must this problem surface now? arent things suppose to be back to normal after i come back. were we not happy? if i agreed to woo her again - it would imply that this is it, she will be the one whom i will say my wedding vows too. or is it not? i am still young.. can't i just keep my options open? am i up for it? will i be able to commit? is she really the one? are we really meant to be, if she can just propose to break up just like that.

...

what should he do? was she really being too uptight? when is the time to settle down? must we really keep our options open? in every relationship, we ask almost the same questions. but sometimes there are no answers. in times like these, what should we do..

because there can never be perfection, love can be so tiring, so fragile.. really wish that they manage to pull through this time round.
