its i feel talkative day

while on the bus back from 3 sessions today. was in a fairly good mood as i have a dinner date and someone to accompany me for grocery shopping. must join in the band wagon and buy all the stuff you need, since 3 major grocery stores have vouch that they will be absorbing the gst hike for one month. time to stock up like preparing for war. can't help feeling like an auntie but hee save money is the best policy. actually according to my economics knowledge: all these are actually gimmicks to boost the economy because people tend to buy a lot of stuff that they do not actually need. something like the opposite of the paradox of thrift. but hey we are just merely short-sighted consumers anyway, so i shall be a lemming for the time being and feel good about it.

so decided to get on the upper deck as usual for long trips, time check around 4.15pm, and i have no idea while passing through geylang there is such massive amount of traffic. its not like prayers or sth. its a monday! anyway... so as i was looking down at a bus stop there was little toddler that got down with the rest of his family, i think his walk is very unstable so he kept reaching for his dad's relaxed arm. the cutest part is he cant reach his dad's palms =) ironic cause by the time this kid can reach for his daddy's hands he will not want to anymore. instead he wants to run free and run away.

so a few more bus stops after that. i had an epiphany: [unlike what shakespeare said: life's a stage] life is actually a movie sequel. similar plots, storyline getting worse, repetitive cycles of emotional soap stories and even though you know the story is bad you will watch it just to feel complete. Then it came AGAIN: i finally understood why shrek 3 wasnt that amazing! cause its a story based on a married couple, who wants to know about that wahahahah...

then up came secondary three girls and also a pair of really funny old married couple (typically a submissive wife and a alpha male uncle!) well secondary school girls first - they were wearing their cca tshirts thats why i know - okie typical school girls gossip, who's with who or bla bla bla... kind of miss those days actually, now in school the only bus rides are get are from the shuttle bus or i walk back so this is totally impossible (1) the time taken will not even be enough for one gossip (2) who in the right mind will wanna gossip on a shuttle bus?? campus is so small and the whole world knows each other :D

then then then the furrrniest part. this auntie was trying to tell her alpha male husband all the auntie gossips. so the irritating uncle started commenting on her and her friends. and the wife
just AGREED! phoa amazing. and so they seem to be enjoying their argument. even for trivial stuff like whether they should buy dinner back and the naggy auntie was afraid that her rice will get soggy. so if you are married next time do update me on weird and funny conversations you have with your spouse.

one last THING: this is just fyi of course =) the new residential thingy in orchard road. its multi-storey of course since its such a golden area. but its way cool, cause no matter which floor you stay in you can still park your car just outside your house. every unit has a car porch. and how do u get your car up there lifts for cars!! brilliant isn't it. they already have this in many areas but apparently this is the first in the region. sleek aye...
