wit·ty (wĭt'ē)
adj. wit·ti·er, wit·ti·est
  1. Possessing or demonstrating wit in speech or writing; very clever and humorous.
  2. Characterized by or having the nature of wit; funny or jocular: a witty saying.
  3. Quick to discern and express amusing insights or relationships.
  4. Entertainingly and strikingly clever or original in concept, design, or performance: a witty sculpture; witty choreography.
it never fails for people to call me witty due to my uncanny nature to be sarcastic. yes i really mean uncanny. don't you people find it disturbing that i always have something to retaliate with. if i was 'the audience' i would definitely find this unsettling. today we tried to explain how witty i can be. how i can "attack" someone instinctively. it is impossible to give a positive demonstration so we tried to define my way of being -so-called-witty. "when the comment is made everyone who heard it will laugh BUT the person who is the victim will feel the helplessness of his/her situation because he/she has to laugh together (to show sportsmanship :p) with the crowd at him/herself."

isnt it bizzare when someone's mistake can be another person's joke. come to think of it:NO. same thing- my misery can be what that made your day. a person's happiness can be the other's pain. ironic yet true. tragic. haven't talked at all about ihg yet. well there you go: IHG itself is an irony. but it has been a good season for the girls so far as for me :) the healthy glow lingers on. its burning like mad now but i like this semi-tan feeling. okay back to IHG: one person's glory is the other's failure. this is when the journey of acquisition does not matter anymore because regardless of how much effort you have put in a lose is a lose. you may argue that deep down inside when you know you have tried your best it is never a good enough reason because it will eventually be deem an excuse. the road to glory is never justified if you do not win. but of course this is what i think; others may say that there may always be someone worse and better than you, if you have done your best that is all that matters. like the question with regards to the chicken and egg. never will there be an answer.

the weekend has come and gone, it was really frustrating last night watchin things being done so slowly and so inefficiently. why was i the one there? why was i doing it? wat can i do? i have no idea. at times like this i really feel like washing my hands of all these nonsense and unnecessary worry. i have learn enough through this and i want to stop. i doubt that i even care if i was given any credit for all these.

still think it was a good thing giving things a miss this time round. history would repeat itself if i would have gone. fake smiles and its the memory that would really kill. more so, where it all started. no way i'm going back there again with the same group of people. even though it never cross my mind so, today i remembered. i use to tell myself be brave so you will not regret it. you told me too. unfortunately, the flame went berserk and it hurt. today i admit: i regret. it is this feeling of thinking that the journey matters more that make this end this way. was optimism to be blamed. the grey area resurfaces.

the fine line between wit and mean is hard to be drawn:

mean 2 (mēn)
adj. mean·er, mean·est
  1. Selfish in a petty way; unkind.
  2. Cruel, spiteful, or malicious.

  • so tell me. where is this line. maybe i did not mean to be witty at all.

my night has become my day yet my day remains my day so...
